                                            What is Ambulatory Surgery  ?
Ambulatory Surgery is also referred to as "Day Surgery" or " Outpatient surgery".  All three of these terms mean the same thing.  This type of surgery does not require staying overnight after the operation.  Ambulatory surgery is more often on patients who are reasonably healthy.  Operations usually take less than two hours and recuperation is usally at home where you are most comfortable.

What are the advantages of Ambulatory Surgery ?
The atmosphere at our surgery center helps you feel relaxed and confident about your surgery.  This can mean less time away from home, less time off from work and less interruption of your family schedule.

Recent advances in medical techniques and anesthetics allow patients to recover from the surgery much more quickly.

Because the expenses of an overnight hospital stay are eliminated, surgery at Rush Surgery Center usually costs less than the same surgery done at a hospital on an inpatient or outpatient basis.
